Angel Food Ministries
Times are rough, no doubt. At Norwood Church of the Nazarene, we know it is important to stretch your food dollars. We are pleased to offer this wonderful program, Angel Food Ministries, to our community. Here is how it works: for $30 you can buy enough food to make dinner for a family of four for an entire week! It's a great deal and you can order as many boxes as you would like. The menu varies from month to month as well, to allow a variety of interesting choices for your family. Some months the food varies from pizza to steak to manicotti to chicken nuggets. This food is high quality. If you were to purchase the same exact stuff from Kroger, it would cost you approximately $60-75!
In addition to the $30 Signature box, Angel Food offers a variety of other boxes of meats, poultry, convenience meals, allergen-free food, after-school snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, and more! No box costs more than $35. Check the menu to see what is offered this month.
Many ask us: "Do we qualify to order? We are not poor." This program is not in any way income sensitive. In fact, if those who are well off order, it keeps the bulk costs down and assists people who are struggling to make the monthly payment. Being a part of this ministry truly is win-win for everyone. We encourage you to order no matter which income bracket you find yourself in. You will not be disappointed!

How to Order
Our office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM or the Saturday of the due date from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. You can come to our office and order. Payment must be made at the time the order is placed. We accept cash, food stamps, or money orders.
