Norwood Ministries

Children

Children are important to us.  Your children will be met with a caring and interactive environment each Sunday as they are introduced to biblical themes and Christian living.

We believe in meeting the physical as well as spiritual needs of children.  That is why each year we host a Back-to-School Bash where the children of this community can come for a fun day of science demonstrations and entertainment and be equipped with the supplies they need to succeed in school.

Youth

You will find our youth not only meeting together on Sunday morning, but participating in weekend recreational events and sharing meals.  A highlight each year is the annual regional talent competition known as BLAST where each teen has an opportunity to excel in areas of talent such as music, sports, art, poetry and even math.  We also encourage our youth to be the church of today by serving in the church in vital and dynamic roles.

College and Career

A dynamic group of young professionals and college students are an active part of the life of our church.  They may be found participating in the worship band, in a vibrant class on Sunday morning, playing softball, or enjoying life together informally during the week.

Adult

Come, enjoy some time with an inviting, fun group. This group has a wonderful Sunday School class that prays for each other weekly and focuses on biblical knowledge. If you miss them in Sunday School, you may be able to catch them taking each other on in a big cornhole match in the church parking lot.

Senior Adult

The SAM group, as they are known, have their own Sunday School class as well as a once a month social gathering (usually occurring over lunch the second Saturday of every month).

Financial Peace University

Our first Financial Peace group is currently under way Sunday evenings July 18 to October 24 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  This 13-week class will help you learn how to eliminate debt and free up funds for saving and giving.

If you are interested in joining us for a future class, contact Pastor Deanna.
